Judgment is now!

I begin by drawing attention to recent events in our nation. In the UK, as of today, 28th June 2025, a bill permitting the euthanasia of the terminally ill has passed its third reading in the House of Commons, though it still requires further approval in the House of Lords. Additionally, the abortion bill allows for the termination of the unborn outside the previous legal framework.
Exodus 34:6 Then the Lord passed by in front of him, and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth (faithfulness); 7 keeping mercy and lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; but He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting (avenging) the iniquity (sin, guilt) of the fathers upon the children and the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations [that is, calling the children to account for the sins of their fathers].” 8 Moses bowed to the earth immediately and worshiped [the Lord
The sacrificial offering of a child to a deity has been a part of human culture for thousands of years. Each child has the potential to become a saved soul, belonging to Christ. In order to redeem for Himself a holy family form the families of the earth God extracted a peculiar people group from among the nations to live separate lives. He gave them an identity, His culture and covenant. The Israelites were commanded YHVH not to go into the ways of the heathen. But they continued to do and even the wisest among them erred.
King Solomon is said to have built a shrine to Molech.
1 Kings 11.1-11King Solomon loved many foreign women along with the daughter of Pharaoh: Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite women, 2from the nations concerning which the Lord had said to the Israelites, “You shall not enter into marriage with them, neither shall they with you; for they will surely incline your heart to follow their gods”; Solomon clung to these in love. 3Among his wives were seven hundred princesses and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. 4For when Solomon was old, his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not true to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David. 5For Solomon followed Astarte the goddess of the Sidonians, and Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 6So Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not completely follow the Lord, as his father David had done.7Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Molech the abomination of the Ammonites, on the mountain east of Jerusalem. 8He did the same for all his foreign wives, who offered incense and sacrificed to their gods.
9Then the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,10and had commanded him concerning this matter, that he should not follow other gods; but he did not observe what the Lord commanded.
A nation suffers when godly men err from the precepts of God.
Jeremiah 32:35 also states,
‘They built the high places of Baal in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to offer up their sons and daughters to Molech, though I did not command them, nor did it enter into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin’.
God’s grace allows the generations to turn back to Him and through His mercy God restrains His arm of judgement upon that generation and those to come. However, each subsequent generation must seek God’s face and learn how to repent. We must learn to repent in the way God requires.
Christian observations , church attendance, good works, and reading the Bible without a broken and contrite heart, without consecration, conversion and holiness are just carnal actions, and the Holy Spirit is not in them.
The Holy Spirit aims to establish a sacred dwelling for God. He desires to see this dwelling realised within us.
Why does judgment come upon a nation? Because God’s holiness has been profaned. It begins with what His children have done. That’s why God’s people, called by His name, must repent. This passage in 2 Chronicles 7:14, does not apply to a heathen nation. It applies to God’s people.
Judgment has come to our nation. Vast swaths of people turning to God may seem like revival, but we have to see the results of the righteous crying out to the Lord — here towns and cities are changed, crime is drastically reduced, prisons become churches, and churches are full and unrighteous laws are thrown out of the framework of our legal systems. It begins with praying people, not busy people. Revival must come before judgment. Is this what we are seeing?
Church activity has to change: old habits must be cast down, death of the soul must be real, not just spoken about.
It is considered that we have had 3-4 generations since WWII. The curse of promiscuity, free love and the rise of the selfish generation who have sought only personal pleasure, has seen the church dwindle in numbers, and consequently the teachings of Christ systematically wiped out from what was predominantly a Christian nation.
The population of the world is increasing, and it is generally accepted that the sustainability of the planet is at risk. There is no doubt that we are living in a toxic world. The UN estimates that by the 2080s the global population will exceed 10.3billion. To put that into some context, the population of the world in the 1800s was around 1billion.
Before WWII, the global population was around 2.3 billion. In less that 80yrs the population has increased to just over 8 billion.
I suggest that the agenda to stem and decrease the population of the world can only be administered by agendas of war - ethnicity against ethnicity, and the legalisation of abortion and assisted dying. In addition, the effects of vaccines, such as premature death and sterilisation, all seem to be part of the causal effects spoken of in Exodus 34:
To the believer, death should be a familiar response as part of God’s judgment upon wickedness. Why are we so shocked when these things are spoken of in our sermons?
Because grace is preached over judgment and the righteous judge is removed from the courtroom.
When we repent and return back to God’s word, God blesses us.
2 Chronicles 7:14 is a run-to passage when we speak of repentance, and Psalm 91 is a co-runner when difficulties come and when a nation faces some catastrophic event. We must, however, understand that the psalm is an eschatological psalm, that speaks of God’s protection upon the righteous when His wrath is released upon the wicked.
We seek God’s faithful forgiveness when we repent and lean upon His promise to bless us. Blessings and curses are both judgments of God.
God’s instruments of discipline are recognised in the Jewish writings. When He brings a powerful invading army or whether some devastating catastrophic event like, famine and pestilence, all are seen as acts of God’s discipline.
Judgment begins in the house of the Lord. Repentance begins in the hearts of His people. Are we in trepidation of what God can subject us to?
Has the church become too familiar with God? I believe we have.
We speak of righteousness and holiness; We want to cry out for them, but actions speak louder than words. Instead of contending against unholy laws made by a wicked generation, we go along with them.
We want to keep the peace and be friends to the world. But this kind of friendship is enmity to God. Paul writes that being a friend to the world is at conflict in being a servant of Christ.
The Baptist called the people to repentance and to commit their lives to Christ. The Hebrews in Egypt and during the Babylonian exile all but forgot their identities and the worship of YHVH.
The judgments on Egypt were reality checks and an awakening for the Hebrews. The wilderness was the place God used so that they could find themselves and live as free people, not as slaves. They had to undergo a transformation of mind and commit to being a covenant people. Wickedness put the Israelites into exile. In Babylon, a generation had to pass until the prophecy of the end of their exile would come. The people lamented of their lives when they once lived in the city of God.
God is regathering and calling His people to turn from unholy alliances and realise they are a holy people called to serve Him as a royal priesthood. That is the truth. The signatures of every born-again believer are upon the document of the covenant. There is now a responsibility to become disciples of Christ and bear fruit from the vine.
The Lord gave me a vision of two people in a dark bedroom. One was asleep and one was looking outside through the window. Outside, a raging storm beat the window pane with heavy rain. Despite the noise at the window, the person in the bed remained asleep.
The one in the bed represented those in the church who have been told fairy tales and fables; ear-tickling stories from weak teachers and false prophets. The Lord said they sleep because fairy tales are meant to do that. These tales are told at night to help little children sleep.
The one at the window is the one who remains awake during the storm. He stands as a watchman, one of many. But the watchmen are finding it hard to awaken the sleepers.
In another vision, during an evening of prayer, a picture of a cockerel crowing frantically on top of a chicken coup was given. Despite his constant crowing, nobody was taking any notice. Soon after that vision, the horrendous events of October 7th took place in Israel. The warning sounds of the trumpet have been forgotten. why? Because we are living in a false peace.
Friends, during the October 7th attack in Israel, the people were resting and celebrating. Israel was asleep. It was a time of festivities, and it was on a sabbath at the time of the feast of Tabernacles. Was this a foreshadowing sign of Jacob's trouble?
Religious observances do not impress God when the hearts of the people are far from Him. Jesus said, when the end comes, pray that it won't be on a Sabbath or in winter.
The Feast of Tabernacles is also representative of a courtroom scenario. YHVH sits as judge, Yeshua as the defence counsel and HaSatan as the prosecution.
We not only have to prepare for the greater exodus, when the movement of the true church begins its mega shift from its secular alliances and traditional rituals, and the ingathering of the nations begins to speed up, we also have to prepare for a tribulation period unlike anything that has come upon the upon the earth since the days of Noah. Judgment, at the moment, is being held back by mercy, but the sleeping church rests upon a false notion that its salvation is fulfilled and there is no need to get itself right with God. All that stuff is done.
Persecution has already begun in our nation; preaching God’s message is forbidden on the streets in most towns as it offends passersby. Of course it will, because those who hear it are Bible and scripturally ignorant, unaware of sin and to whom they have sinned against. Lot was a righteous man who was deeply disturbed about the perverse, wicked lives of his fellow citizens. He is like the church in the world today; however, Lot chose to live and remain in Sodom. His lifestyle and status proved hard are to leave behind. That is the struggle we face today.
The Lord impressed on me a few weeks ago that the war in Europe, between Russia and Ukraine, is our war, and the war in the Middle East is Israel's.
What happens to Israel, past, present, and future reflects their relationship with the God of Israel, who is the same yesterday, today and forever; He is unchanging and does not show partiality. In fact, His discipline is harder upon His own. However, He sees all men as sinners waiting to be saved.
The wilderness and exilic struggles of Israel remain as reminders to us. We are admonished not to repeat their mistakes, but we do. We continue to argue and grumble, creating even more divisive ways among us, causing the greatest schisms within Church history. The tens of thousands of denominations within the Protestant church, for instance, is testimony to this. We should be appalled at how we have profaned the holiness of God’s universal house.
As a result, the Lord is saying, ‘enough! You are removing My name from My word and are changing My image! My name is My authority.
Changing Bible truths and removing the Father’s name is beyond the pale.
The rabbi’s removed YHVH’s name from the writings, arguing that it was too sacred to mention. However, YHVH revealed His name to Moses. Taking the name of the Lord in vain is a commandment breach. How cunning then, is it to remove His name and mitigate the risk of breaking the law.
Being unable to see or speak God’s name brings repercussion and so the inability to see the word manifest as flesh remains a condition of the spiritual blindness of the Jews. Matthew 13:13-5, Isaiah 6:9-10, Ezekiel 12:2.
Romans 11 is specifically important in understanding the condition of an idolatrous nation. The inability to see and hear spiritual things ensue.
We have forgotten the watchman’s call, the sound of the warning trumpet. Paul tells us this. 1 Corinthians 14:7 7 And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? 8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
In the end, it does not matter whether we have stockpiled resources and equipment or attained varying levels of survival knowledge; without prayer and spiritual preparedness, we will not make it through the tribulation to come.
So, what is the role of the church in an evil world? Sin has piled up. Are our eyes too concerned about worldly events and the wickedness outside the walls of the faith community? Friends, our attention needs to be drawn to sin within the house, to the leaven amongst us, the poison in the chalice.
That is what God is drawing our attention to. Look at the mildew on the walls and the temperature of the pews. We are living in unprecedented and extraordinary times, and as such we need to see those conditions reflected among God’s people.
Once again, the Lord revealed to me that a radical Maccabean-type army, a warrior priesthood, is rising. It’s time to get serious and to be numbered among the remnant.
Romans 13:11-14
11 Do this, knowing that this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep [of spiritual complacency]; for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed [in Christ]. 12 The night [this present evil age] is almost gone and the day [of Christ’s return] is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the [full] armour of light. 13 Let us conduct ourselves properly and honourably as in the [light of] day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility, not in quarrelling and jealousy. 14 But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires.
Shalom
